Abstract: | The objective of this independent study was to develop business intelligence for analyzing sales of silver jewelry of Karen Cottage Store. The development process consisted of data warehouse development, ETL process development, created OLAP cube, created dashboard and distributed dashboard via SharePoint The development tools were Microsoft SQL Server 2012 for data warehouse development, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 for ETL Process development and created OLAP cube and Microsoft Excel 2013 for created dashboard. Dashboard were created in 2 types, strategic dashboard and tactical dashboard. There were 4 groups of end user, the executive, the head of sales, the head of procurement and the head of finance. Users can access dashboard via SharePoint using intranet. The end users satisfaction survey toward using Business Intelligence found that overall satisfaction was at the highest level (x ̅ = 3.47). The satisfaction of executive was at the high level (x ̅ = 3.76). The satisfaction of head of sales was at the highest level (x ̅ = 3.26). The satisfaction of head of procurement was at the high level (x ̅ = 3.56) and the satisfaction of head of finance was at the high level (x ̅ = 3.32). |
