Abstract: This independent study aimed at investigating Motivating Factors for Working of Personnel in Foundations for Children in Mueang Chiang Mai District. Samples to this study were specified to 82 peoples. Questionnaires were used as the tool to collect data; then, all data obtained were analyzed by the descriptive statistic, consisting of frequency, percentage and mean. The findings suggested that the majority were female, aged between 21-30 years old, single, with Bachelor’s degree or higher. Current employment status is full-time employee. They mostly earned less than 10,000 baht for monthly income and had worked at organization for 1-5 years. Their reason for choosing to work in the organization was refered to enjoy the work. The result of the study on the motivation factors presented that the employees paid high level of concern to achievement factor, followed by work itself, responsibility and recognition for achievement factors. However, the factor namely advancement got moderate level of concern. The result of the study on Hygiene factors presented that the employees paid high level of concern to interpersonal relations factor, followed by supervision, status, policy and administration, working condition, and security factors. However, the factor namely salary got moderate level of concern. The result of the study on Personal needs factors presented that the employees paid high level of concern to this job makes you proud to be part of the organization, followed by to this job makes improve social standing and helps you meet new people and feel part of the society, this job makes you achieved your goals, job is able to meet the basic needs for living, this job makes you reach your highest potential, this job provides security in life, this job makes you feel accepted from the society. However, the factor namely this job provides security of the property got moderate level of concern.
