Abstract: The purpose of this independent study was to study the job motivating factors of sales managers in large multinational pharmaceutical companies in Thailand. They consisted of two factors; motivation factors and hygiene factors. The samples of this study were 175 sales managers in large multinational pharmaceutical companies in Thailand. The data was collected by questionnaires and then analyzed by descriptive statistics; frequency, percentage and means. And inferential statistics in terms of t-test. It was found from this study that the respondents ranked the importance of the overall both motivation factors and hygiene factors at a high level. Motivation factors that the respondents ranked the importance at high levels which were achievement, responsibility, work-itself, recognition and advancement, respectively. The factor ranked at a medium level was possibility of growth. For hygiene factors that the respondents ranked the importance at high levels were technical supervision, status, company policy and administration, job security, working conditions, factors in personal life, salary and interpersonal relations, respectively.
