dc.description.abstract | A straightforward pathway for synthesizing unsymmetrical oligo-phenylene vinylenes (OPVs) was developed by using Heck coupling reaction. Two different styrene derivatives have been reacted with a diiodo benzene core unit at the same time. After purification, the unsymmetrical OPVs were obtained in up to 56% yield. | en_US |
