The first rank in terms of happiness was in working, mainly a good relationship with their colleagues and in work safety, followed by the economic aspect, mainly reasonable remuneration for the workload and a small amount debt without affecting their monthly income. The sample group had a moderate level of problems also, in such areas as the section had suffered too much of a workload, inadequate personnel, and the payment and welfare was not suitable to the amount of work. The employee group consisted mostly of males, married, 36 years old on average with a bachelor’s degree and monthly salary of 10,001-20,000 Baht, and they had worked for the municipality for about 5 years in the education section. Their work happiness was at a moderate level. The number one happiness for work resulted from good relationship with their colleagues and engaging in activities with them, followed by the health aspects in terms of no personal health problems or work-related health problems or problems with drinking and smoking.
