Abstract: This individual study aims to analyse the Buddism dharmic principle in MAHAJANAKA royal work. The analysis was integrated with the concept of administration concerning the ruler who teaches and communicates directly and indirectly to promote the moral principle and political knowledge of politicians, government officers, and other people so that the society will be peaceful and the politics will be maturative and effective. This study used a qualitative methodology by researching from books, journals, databases, and related websites, and also by interviewing the well-informed person of this royal work. Then, the data were analysed by using the descriptive statistics and the related theory. The study reveals that the political dharmic principles appeared in this royal work are the endeavor, the intelligence, the patience and the responsibility. These four dharmic principles are obviously taught in the royal work by the King Bhumibol. They reflects that people should be industrious, intelligent, patient, and responsible. Having all these dharmic principles will bring about the good things to the individual and society. The result from the interview with ten samples; monks, scholars, politicians, and government officers, shows that people from every occupations and every genders know and read MAHAJANAKA royal work from many types of medium which are book, cartoon book, television, or even the website. This result suggests that multi-accessing makes this royal work well-known by the people. Moreover, most samples think that the dharmic principles in this royal work are related to the politics, especially the politicians or the political accessories. These principles can be learned and applied not only by the politicians but also by the people in general. In addition, they make people understand more about Thai political system. The story of MAHAJANAKA was added these dharmic principles in and compared to Thai politics in order to be the ideas and practices for people to apply in real life. Transmitting these principles through the letters is called Political Socialization which helps initiate the learning about democratic politics, by integrating the Buddism concept, and bring about the absolute constitutional monarchy.
