Abstract: The purposes of this study were to develop learning plans on Mathematics Word Problem-solving through Diagram Drawing Techniques for Prathom Suksa 1 students and to study Mathematics Word Problem-solving skills of those students. The target group was 28 Prathom Suksa 1 students who studied in the second semester of the 2014 academic year at Mooban Sahakorn 2 School, Mae On district, Chiang Mai province. The instruments were 8 learning plans on Mathematics Word Problem-solving using Diagram Drawing Techniques consuming 14 teaching hours and 2 sets of test. Data were analyzed through computing the average of posttest score then compared with the set criteria of 65 %. The results presented in the form of table with description. The findings revealed that : 1) The constructed plans could improve Mathematics Word Problem-solving skills of Prathom Suksa 1 students. 2) The average percentage post-test score on Mathematics Word Problem-solving skills of students was 85.00 % which was higher than the set criteria of 65.00%.
