Abstract: | The objective of this research is to study the perception of investigators toward the term of Human Dignity. The result will be used to identify the definition of Human Dignity; therefore, the investors would understand the term of Human Dignity in the same way. It would be able to help the investigator work more effectively and efficiently. The researcher used questionnaire to correct the data from 38 investigators in Chiang Mai. The research reveals that the investigators understand the definition of Human Dignity differently from one another. This leads the investigators perform the investigation processes based on the different standards. Moreover, the research shows that there are three factors including gender, physical appearance and age leading the investigators to treat victims and suspects differently. After analyzing the information corrected, the researcher suggests redefining the definition of the Human Dignity to create mutual understanding among the investigators. Otherwise, the investigation processes would be performed improperly which leads to other forms of discrimination and violation of Human Dignity. |
