Abstract: The purpose of this research is to design an optimal inventory allocation system for the distribution vehicles of Ovaltine products, operated by AB Food & Beverages (Thailand) Ltd. An analysis of the inventory practices of the sales vehicle staff revealed inefficiencies in the current process of withdrawing products from the DerBel (Thailand) Company distribution center. Specifically, employees tend to fully load the transport vehicles each day for delivery across various routes, resulting in either surplus stock or insufficient quantities of certain items. This discrepancy often leads to delays in delivering products to customers, causing wasted time and increased fuel consumption. To address these issues, the researcher conducted an in-depth analysis and developed a new inventory withdrawal system aligned with customer demand. This system effectively minimizes inventory levels in the transport vehicles, reduces the frequency of withdrawals, and eliminates the need for repeated deliveries. The system was tested on three routes, which are Li District, Ban Hong District, and Thung Hua Chang District, over a two-month period (April and May) with five Ovaltine products. The findings showed a significant reduction in overall inventory levels across all routes, with no instances of repeated deliveries for Ovaltine products.
