Abstract: Thailand attracts a large number of tourists each year due to its diverse and unique tourism products and services, which emphasize Thainess and outstanding lacal wisdom. Health tourism, particularly in the area of spas, is very popular. Moreover, Thailand has various aromatic plants that are of interest to study. This research aims to extract absolute from Plumeria acuminata flowers and Pandan amaryllifolius leaves for spa use and to blend them with other essential oils to achieve a pleasing aroma. Additionally, the study examines the components in the essential oils blend with both absolute, analyzes the TPC and TFC, and evaluates the antioxidant and anti-aging properties to incorporate these into a stable spa cream product. The effectiveness of the product was tested on 20 healthy volunteers. The extraction of absolute from Plumeria acuminata flowers (PDA) and Pandan amaryllifolius leaves (PLA) yielded 0.14±0.03% and 0.12±0.01%, respectively. These extracts were blended with other essential oils into different essential oils blend formula and tested for odor satisfaction by 20 volunteers. It was found that EOB2 and EOB5 were the most acceptable formula, then they were further investigated for antioxidant and anti-aging abilities along with stability test. The results found that EOB2 demonstrated better stability and was therefore tested for its MMP-2 enzyme in human skin cells. EOB2 showed 30.43±1.06% of MMP-2 enzyme inhibition which is 1.07 times more effective than Ascorbic acid. GC-MS analysis of EOB2 revealed a total of 33 components, with limonene being the most abundant, followed by eucalyptol. EOB2 at concentrations of 1.5% and 2% were incorporated with a stable cream base then tested for stability under various storge conditions for 3 months. Physical and biological evaluation showed no difference between the two concentrations over a 3-month period and under accelerated conditions. Thus, the 1.5% EOB2 cream was chosen for further clinical evaluation in 20 healthy volunteers. The results showed that the cream with essential oil blended with PDA and PLA after 2 months of twice daily application on the forearm, cause no skin irritation and significantly improved moisture level (p<0.05) as determined using a Corneometer®, and reduced wrinkle area, wrinkle depth, and skin roughness significantly (p<0.05) as determined using a Visiometer® compared to before use. Volunteers also reported a high level of satisfaction with the product after using the product.
