Abstract: This independent study, Rights to Bodily Exposure in Public: A Case Study of Content Creators on OnlyFans, aims to answer the following research questions: 1) What are the formats, methods, and attitudes of content creators who expose their bodies on OnlyFans? and 2) What are the policies related to the rights of bodily exposure for content creators on online platforms? The objectives of this study are: 1) to examine the formats and methods of creating content involving bodily exposure on OnlyFans, 2) study the attitudes of content creators who expose their bodies on OnlyFans, and 3) present policies related to the rights of bodily exposure for content creators on online platforms. This research employed a qualitative research methodology. The key informants consisted of 18 individuals, including content creators who expose their bodies on OnlyFans and experts or practitioners from organizations related to rights law. The samples were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews from January 2024 to March 2024. The findings showed that there are two types of body-revealing content on OnlyFans: Explicitly revealing content, which is content created with full body exposure, and Artistic revealing content, which is content created with partial body exposure, such as modeling, portrait photography focusing on the body, emphasizing body curves, bust, buttocks, chest muscles, and muscles in various parts. Content creators reveal their bodies influenced by factors such as personal taste and preferences, and social values. Content creators reveal their bodies believing that content production is a personal right and a right over one's own body. There should be policies and laws to oversee and address related issues, which may involve establishing a specialized agency to handle this matter in the future.
