Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) To study about inequality of stateless students in school. 2) To study the government process which aiming to resolve the problems on stateless students. 3) To propose suggestions for the government organization in order to solve those issues. The study revealed: The difficulties of stateless students are caused of alien workers migration along with group of foreign students crossing the border for an education. There are 2 groups of these stateless students which are stateless students who got surveyed, saved in registration of personal record and have non-citizen identity card from government, in contrast to out-of-surveyed students. These two groups show that not only social inequality but also inequity within the group of stateless students. They face issues of not having social welfare accessibility for instance; scholarship, crossed-province travel, service from private sectors, medical care. The government organization has continually solved these problems. However, the delayed of solving these difficulties is due to difference, qualification of each students, lacking of personal document, knowledge and competence of government officers. The challenge of this issue is continuation of alien migration so that it seems to be endless problems. And the best way to solve this problem in the basic is bring stateless students into the system for check, control and prevent problems at future. Key word: Stateless students, Inequality
