Abstract: | The study on the factors affecting the commitment of personnel to Wachiralai School in Chiang Mai province aims to examine the factors that influence the commitment of personnel to Wachiralai School in Chiang Mai province and to determine the level of commitment of personnel to Wachiralai School in Chiang Mai province. The study used a sample group of personnel working at Wachiralai School in Chiang Mai province, with a sample size of 78 individuals. A questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The statistical methods employed in the study included descriptive statistics, percentages, one-way ANOVA (F-test) for variance analysis, and crosstabulation for data analysis. The study found that the majority of respondents were female, accounting for 56.41%. The most common age group was between 31 and 40 years old, representing 38.46%. The highest level of education was a bachelor's degree, accounting for 88.46%. The majority of respondents had a work experience (tenure) of 1 to 5 years, totaling 36 individuals, which was 46.15%. The most common position level was secondary school teacher, comprising 50.00%. Regarding monthly salary, 51.28% of respondents earned between 15,001 and 20,000 baht. The study results regarding the factors affecting organizational commitment of personnel showed that the average scores for all six dimensions were at an agreeable level (x̅ = 4.14). When looking at each dimension individually, it was found that the factor with the highest average score was the organizational practices dimension (x̅ = 4.25), followed by the personnel dimension (x̅ =4.24). The factors with slightly lower average scores were quality of life (x̅ = 4.19), job dimension (x̅ = 4.10), opportunities dimension (x̅ = 4.10), and rewards dimension (x̅ = 3.95). The study results regarding the level of commitment found that the overall organizational commitment of personnel was at a high level (x̅ = 4.24). When considering each dimension separately, the dimension with the highest average score was the belief and acceptance of organizational goals and values (x̅ = 4.34), followed by the intention to maintain organizational membership (x̅ = 4.28). The dimension with a slightly lower average score was the willingness and readiness to put forth maximum effort for the benefit of the organization (x̅ = 4.10). Additionally, when comparing the factors affecting organizational commitment with personal characteristics, it was found that personal characteristics categorized by position level had statistically significant differences in organizational commitment at the .05 level in all dimensions. |
