Abstract: The purpose of this research is to study the effects of Rational Emotive Behavior Group Therapy on academic procrastination of undergraduate students. This research was conducted by quasi-experimental research by examining undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University. The materials of the study consisted of an academic procrastination scale and Rational Emotive Behavior Group Therapy program. The sampling of the research group was composed of 355 students. The assessment presented that there were 107 students with a score above 70 percentiles. Students from this group voluntarily participated in the experiment that was divided into two groups. The experimental group consisted of 8 students and the control group consisted of 10 students. The Wilcoxon signed rank test and Mann-Whitney U test, ranks test used in nonparametric statistics, had been used to determine those groups. The result indicated that Rational Emotive Behavior Group Therapy program had effects on academic procrastination behavior of the students according to the consequences as follows: 1) the students from experimental group had academic procrastination score less than the pre-test with the statistical significance at 0.5; and, 2) for the post-test, students from experimental group had academic procrastination score less than students from the control group with statistical significance at .05.
