Abstract

The purpose of this study was to 1) study and compare critical reading ability before and after applying the SQ4R technique integrated with the application for grade 11 students and 2) study the attitude toward learning Thai subjects after using the SQ4R technique integrated with applications for grade 11 students. The sample drawn using cluster sampling in this study was 38 students from grade 11 of Sobmoei Wittayakhom School. The instrument used in this study included 1) 8 lesson plans using of SQ4R technique integrated with applications total of 16 hours 2) a critical reading ability test and 3) the student's attitude toward learning Thai subjects. Statistics used in data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and percentage of development. The results of the study show that 1) the critical reading ability of students after learning by using SQ4R technique integrated with applications had a higher learning achieve than before learning at a significant level .05 2) after using the SQ4R technique integrated with applications the student has a positive attitude toward learning Thai subjects at a high level.
