Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) analyses level of public participation with Mae Hong Son Provincial Administrative Organization; 2) to study the public participation to budget process of the Mae Hong Son Provincial Administrative Organization; 3) promote public participation with Mae Hong Son Provincial Administrative Organization. This study is based on the mixed methods by collecting questionnaire and interview. Data collected by questionnaire form 200 simple and interview 5 Key Informants. The study found that people in Mae Hong Son Provincial has decision making in the annual budgeting in high level with 79.5 precent. Mae Hong Son Provincial Administrative Organization uses the law as a basis in allowing the public to participate in the expenditure budget. However, it focusses to participation by representative.
