Abstract: This study aims to study the political behavior of farmers. from supporting the policies of political parties and general political behavior that occurs Which Don Thaen Village was originally from Don Thaen Village, Don Mun Sub-district, Sung Men District, Phrae Province, used to be a voice base for the Pheu Thai Party from the past policy that aimed to directly help the quality of life of farmers. But at present, many farmers in the area turned to gain popularity for the Progressive Party since it was still a Future Forward Party with a standpoint of democratic politics Against the succession of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) and the government led by Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, the rapid shift in support came after the Future Forward Party took over. In Thai politics in 2022, from the past that had always been a strong political base for the Pheu Thai Party. Such changes are therefore of interest to study the behavioral factors and farmers' support towards political party favorability changes. The results of the study found that Farmer's political behavior is based on beliefs. personal political attitude It is motivated by the political and policy news received. and political conditions in behavior and selection of support for political parties. Of the 22 farmers and key informants, 14 of them turned to the party's popularity since it was the Future Forward Party due to its democratic political ideology and various welfare policies of the party. Four other farmers still Only support the Pheu Thai Party from the belief and faith in the past performance of the Pheu Thai Party that it had done while in government. Although farmers have different political preferences However, political behavior is no different, that is, continuously following political news in Social Media, participating in official political activities. All of these were peaceful behaviors. legal In the past, only farmers who supported the Pheu Thai Party had participated in the community work of the People's Committee for Transforming Thailand into a Complete Democratic Reform with the King as Head of State (PDRC).
