Abstract: | This research aims to study wastewater treatment by Plasma jet RF to be effective enough to improve wastewater quality, by full factorial designs at 2 levels and 3 center points. There are 3 factors studied: 1) the power at 20-30 Watts 2) the flow rate of argon gas at 2-4 L/min and oxygen mixture 1% of argon gas 3) the time of discharged at 10-20 minute and assess the effectiveness of the plasma wastewater treatment system based on the total viable plate count and analyze biological oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD). As a result, the optimal parameter was expose power 20 Watts, argon gas flow rate 4 L/min and oxygen mixture 1% of argon gas and time of discharged at 10 minutes. The optimal parameter can be reducing the total viable plate count to 54.07% |
