Abstract

The independent study purpose to study the discourse of Pridi Banomyong's National Economic Plan (Yellow Book) in Thai Political Public Space since 2006. The methodology of research is Documentary research according to discourse analysis in the context of Thai society. The research questions are composed of what kind of explanation and discourse of Pridi Banomyong's National Economic Plan (Yellow Book) appeared after the 2006 coup up to the present and what kind of aspects constructed each discourse within this context and environment. The collecting data is divided into 3 data sets 1) the context of politics, society and economy after the 2006 coup in Thailand 2) the emergence of the discourse about the People Party (Khana Rassadon) and 3) the emergence of the discourse of Pridi Banomyong's National Economic Plan (Yellow Book) in Thai Political Public Space since 2006 up to the present. The finding found 3 discourses appear. The appearing of discourses are termed as following: 1. The discourse which purpose the Pridi Banomyong's National Economic Plan (Yellow Book) as the altemnative to critical the present economic. 2. The discourse is constructed by the relation between People party (Khana Rassadon) and Pridi Banomyong's National Economic Plan (Yellow Book) as progressive term 3. The discourse is constructed by the relation between Pridi Banomyong and the content of Pridi Banomyong's National Economic Plan (Yellow Book)
