Abstract

This research aims to improvement of overall equipment effectiveness of the machine at Electronics Industry by choosing a machine that had most loss from operating. The investigation started from finding the reasons for issues that caused the overall equipment effectiveness to be low. Analyzing the data before the checklist of Pareto diagram and Failure mode and effect analysis, It was found that the low of variable which is availability. Therefore, the author studied to apply preventive maintenance to solve the problems. In summary, with graphing compare between before and after improvement. The result from study and improving, It was found that the average overall equipment effectiveness was increased 10.47% from 75.11% to 85.58%.
