Abstract

A study of The Screening Efficiency of the travellers Entering Nan Province at Baan Na Wai Mai Community Checkpoint, Baan Luang District, Nan Province. The purpose of this study was to study factors affecting the screening efficiency of travellers entering Nan Province. To know the problems and obstacle including compared the operating guidelines of the new and old screening checkpoints of travellers entering Nan Province, to propose a better solution to the problem of screening travellers entering Nan Province. Data were collected from questionnaires from a sample of people who traveled to Nan 200 people and staff working at the Ban Na Wai Mai Checkpoint, Ban Luang District, Nan Province 135 people, totaling 335 people. The results of the study found that the opinions of the the travellers Entering Nan Province that uses the ID card effective at the highest level. The second was the opinions of the travellers Entering Nan Province that uses QR Code "Nan Plodpai" effective at the the high level. The opinions of staff that screening effective at the the highest level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the screening that uses the ID card is more effective than uses QR Code "Nan Plodpai" four aspects including the quality of work, quantity, time and cost.For the problems and obstacles of the screening by inserting the ID card, it was found that requires a large number of staff and must work 24 hours a day. During long vacation or the festival there are many people traveling into the province causing a long traffic jam for several kilometersbecause people have to wait for screening. For the problems and obstacles of the screening using QR Code "Nan Plodpai", there is a lot of data processing and take a long time depends on the technology skills of each person. In addition, the system does not have a database that links data from 13-digit identification numbers. This makes it impossible to truly identify the person who fills out the information to match the name of the person.
