Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1. To analyze the policy of forest fire and smog prevention and solution of Pha Daeng National Park; 2. To assess the implementation of the forest fire and smog prevention policy of Pha Daeng National Park Chiang Mai Province 3. To develop guidelines to prevent and solve forest fire and smog problems. Research tool are the interview form. The key informants were: practical role players and community leaders from the target villages, Total 26 key informants. The results of the research revealed that, in context, the policy of forest fire and smog prevention and solution is consistent with the situation of forest fire and smog in Pha Daeng National Park. However, even the policy can be put into practice but there is still a lack of clear evaluation. As for the inputs, it was found that the personnel, budget and equipment were insufficient for the operation. Process is mostly a centralized policy, but there's a plan that works together for all party's situation is assessed. There is a follow-up and evaluation of the policy. Rely on participation from all parties involved, integration of cooperation from all parties is appropriate. In terms of enforcing relevant laws, rules and regulations. It was found to be appropriate and cooperative. As a result, the community has given more importance to forest fires and has more interest and attention. All of which takes time and gradually builds up understanding. The government must support and promote careers and marketing for the community to change the farming style and improve the quality of life. This makes it possible to prevent and solve problems to a certain extent.
