Abstract: This study aimed at investigating the following issues: 1) to study some basic, personal, economic, social, physical and environmental and farming characteristics of farmers in Pang Ma pha District, Mae Hong Son Province, 2) to analyze the factors affecting farmers' decisions on integrated farming, and 3) to study problems, obstacles and recommendations of farmers in integrated farming. This research is a correlation research design. The sample used was farmers who attended the training transfer knowledge in the course integrated farming system. Under the project to promote the cessation of burning in agricultural areas in 2014 of 100 people. The data collection was carried by interviewing and data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, i.e. percentage, frequency, mean, minimum, maximum, standard, deviation, and weight mean score. Inferential statistics (Logistic Regression Analysis) was use to analyze factors affecting farmer's decision to practice integrated agriculture. The results revealed that 38 percent of the farmers have an age 31 - 40 years old with secondary school education. The total family income in the past year was an average of 147, 140.57 baht. In terms of expenses, it was found that farmers had family expenses in the past year an average of 85,484.08 baht. Farmers exchange agricultural information with other farmers on average 3.90 times per month and exchange agricultural information with agricultural scholars working in the area or consultation at the unit location, on average, 1.28 times per month. In the area of perception of information about integrated farming of farmers, it was found that 28.6 percent of farmers received agricultural information from academics and promoters, while 26 percent of farmers received support for inputs or funding for integrated farming. 68 percent of farmers do not record agricultural expenditures. It relies on how to remember and base on past experiences. From an analysis of logistic regression, it was found that there were 6 factors that were statistically significant to the decision of integrated farming among farmers. This including of the total family income in the past year, total family expenses in the past year, frequency of exchanging agricultural information with other farmers. Frequency of exchanging agricultural information with scholars, contribution of factors or funding from the public or private sectors and taking agricultural records. The positively correlated factors were Total family income in the past year Total family expenses in the past year Frequency of exchanging agricultural information with scholars. Contribution of factors or funding from the public or private sectors, and taking agricultural records. The negative correlation factors were frequency of exchanging agricultural information with other farmers. Problems and obstacles in making decisions on integrated farming, it was found that 34.11 percent of farmers had problems with water resources. In terms of recommendations for making decisions on integrated farming, it was found that 29.09 percent of farmers would like to have training, transfer knowledge, and study visits on integrated farming.
