Abstract: In this independent study, we study the enumeration of the Lanna magic squares by studying the patterns from the relationship of numbers in Lanna magic squares derived from the northern talisman with numbers arranged in a magic square with a size of consisting of 16 numbers, including 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 with 1 pair of 14 duplicates. The study found that there were 6 different groups of possible Lanna magic squares patterns. The 1st, 3rd and 6th groups have 384 Lanna magic squares, while the 2nd, 4th and 5th groups have 768 Lanna magic squares. Therefore, there will be a total number of Lanna magic squares of 3,456. When studying mathematical transformations, it was found that Lanna magic squares would have a closure property under mathematical transformations T_1,T_2.
