Abstract: | The purposes of this independent study were: 1) develop the electrical conductivity (EC) system and automatic alkaline acid (pH) for hydroponic plants cultivation and 2) to compare the growth of Plants grown with automatic control systems and those that do not have automatic control by providing a functional design of all automatic compression control systems as well as control programming. The Arduino microcontroller was used as a system control unit using Rule-Based Expert System to assist in system decision making. Once the system was made up, it was installed in the planting plot to use in the salad (Green Oak) growing experiment. The results revealed that the system can work more efficiently. In addition, the hydroponic plants cultivation process was much easier as well as reduced the time in taking care of growing salad (Green Oak) as well. The system would report the results through online website. The measured values of the system were stored in a cloud database. Moreover, the users can view reports in the Real-time mode. Furthermore, the growth of salad with automatic control systems was a skillful process as conventional salad cultivation. |
