Abstract: | Independent research subject “Quality of Life Among Disabled Women Working in Dried Longan Peeling and Seed Removing in Fang District, Chiang Mai Province”. It aims to (1) study the quality of life of disabled women working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing, (2) to study the relationship of working conditions and conditions of disabled women; working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing with quality of life, and (3) to study how women with disabilities affect the quality of life in working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing. The tool used is to interview and analyze the quality of life of disabled women working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing in 5 points is (1) basic information of disabled women working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing, (2) environment, working restrictions in dry-longan peeling and seed removing of disabled women, (3) problems in the work of disabled women working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing, (4) solving problems of disabled women working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing, (5) work and attitudes of disabled women working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing. The findings reflect the quality of life for disabled women working in dry-longan peeling and seed removing, according to the definition of quality of life according to the concept of Abraham H. Maslow, is a total of 5 stages of human basic requirements. It was found that the quality of life of disabled women is also low, with the needs of all five areas, i.e. disabled women do not have a higher quality of life in any area, and most have a lower quality of life. It is found in three of the five needs: the need for love and being part of the group, the need to feel self-worth, and the need to know yourself according to their true condition and potential development. In addition, there are two areas where women with disabilities have a moderate quality of life, namely housing needs, and security needs. However, the quality of life in each area is reflected by how disabled women are met in such areas. |
