Abstract

Assessment fourth industry readiness for food industry supply chain helps the enterprise to prepare their own business to Fourth Industry concept. The aims of this Study were to 1) To develop tools for assessment the readiness of the food and agriculture processing Small and medium enterprise. 2) To assess the readiness of the enterprise to adapt to the Fourth Industry. This research begins with the study of evaluation criteria used in the assessment, Study of generated information of the Fourth Industry concept. The study of Industry information in Thailand because Thailand is the country of agriculture from the past to present and the agriculture is the most importance Industry in Thailand that is the reason why choosing food and agriculture processing. Data collected totally 50 enterprise which the 30 Small size enterprise and 20 medium size enterprise and divided into 7 categories include consumer goods from food product, non-food product and both food and non-food product, Farm, Beverage, Seasoning, Logistics service provider. Data were collected by Maturity model. The enterprise provides basic information of the enterprise and give the score of the 42 dimension ranging from 1-5 in the topics of the firm score, importance, target for this three topics can get the score of gap by target- firm score and to finding the weighted gap by gap*importance/5. Then use all this score weighted gap and importance to do the matrix graph to get the suggestion to the enterprise.
