Abstract

The purposes of the study are to study the problems and the needs in applying local wisdom for careers learning management of Ban Huay Krai School, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai province; to surveying and collecting the local wisdom resources in Wieng Haeng District, Chiang Mai province; and to prepare and check the user manual of careers learning management of Ban Huay Krai School, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai province. The implementation is as follow : First, Study the problems and survey the needs to apply local wisdom, the target groups are the school director, the teachers and the school board of Ban Huay Krai School total 31 people. The instrumentation is interview form, data analysis used the descriptive summary; Second, Survey and collect the local wisdom resources in Wiang haeng District, Chiang Mai province. The purposive sampling informant 15 people. The instrumentation is interview form about local wisdom in Wianghaeng District, data analysis used the descriptive summary; Third, prepare and check the user manual of careers learning management of Ban Huay Krai School. The purposive sampling informant 7 related people. The instrumentation are the record of workshop meeting minutes, the checklist of accuracy, reasonableness and possibility of the local wisdom user manual. The data analysis used the consensus and the descriptive summary.

Conclusion from the study 1. The problem is the teachers are lack of expertise in the interesting careers for student. The 4 needs of local wisdom outside the school are about agricultural, food, religious and culture including art and crafts. 2. There are all fields of local wisdom resources in Wianghaeng District. 3. The user manual of local wisdom for careers of Ban Huay Krai School are composed of the learning resources and their information, school subjects, school hours and learning out-comes. The result is the user manual passed the consensus in all configurations; accuracy, rea-sonableness and possibility.
