Abstract: The purposes of this study were to study the English listening-speaking and writing abilities of the speakers after learning through the whole language approach. The target group comprised 30 primary 3 students of the English Program enrolled in English in the first semester of the academic year 2012 of Anubaan Chiang Mai school. The experiment instruments were nine Whole Language Approach lesson plans. The data collecting instruments were an English listening-speaking abilities The research procedure included English listening-speaking abilities test and English writing ability test that were administered to the students after learning through the whole language approach. The data were statistically analyzed for mean, standard deviation and percentage. The findings of this research were as follows: 1. Students’ English listening-speaking abilities passed the preset criterion of 60% after learning through the Whole Language Approach. 2. Students’ English writing ability passed the preset criterion of 60% after learning through the Whole Language Approach.
