Abstract: The Independent Study “Quality of Work Life of Traffic Polices at Chiang Mai Regional Police Traffic Center” aimed to study the factors which effected working environment and quality of traffic police's work life. Questionnaires were used to collect data from 232 Chiang Mai regional traffic police officers which were divided into 2 groups:135 noncommissioned traffic police and 97 traffic police officers. The collected data was then analyzed by statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, including correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the traffic police at Chiang Mai Regional Police Traffic Center had high level of overall quality of work life, and the factors were ranked in the following order: mind showed the highest mean, followed by spirituality, body, social relationship, environment, and career stability, respectively. The overall working was ranked at the high level with the sub-factors ranked in the following order: working with the meaningful and important organization and high quality of working environment. The correlation analysis between the 6 factors and quality of work life showed that mind, spirituality, body, social relationship, environment, and career stability were related significantly to quality of work life, in the same direction; that is if the police officers ranked the 6 factors at the high level, they will have high level of overall work life quality. The analysis of the influence of factors affecting quality of work life towards the overall quality of work life showed positive variation (R = 0.761). The predictive quality of working life as a whole was at 57.90 percent and 42.10 percent was affected by the other factors. And when considering the statistical significance, it was found that social relationship, spirituality and career stability significantly influenced the overall quality of work life.
