Abstract: The objectives of this study were to analyze the impacts of 300 Baht minimum wage policy on the construction entrepreneurs in Mueang Chiang Mai District which were two aspects such as human resource management and quality production management, It also examined the adaptations of entrepreneurs in construction business in Mueang Chiang Mai District on 300 Baht minimum wage policy. The samples used in this study were 14 cases of construction businesses which were registered as a juristic person. These businesses included seven limited companies and seven limited partnerships. The research instrument was a semi-structured interview. The data were collected by the in-depth interviews and presented by descriptive information. The study found that the impacts on human resources management in the field of labor recruitment were not affected by the policy. The recruitment was in normal situation. The labor recruitment process had no increasing expenses. The field of labor selection, the entrepreneurs in construction business had more rigorous in labor selection process by considering the qualifications of labor on capabilities, experiences, and functional skills. The welfare, the entrepreneurs offered the welfare for their own employees as before without increase or decrease, which might affect the cost of establishment. The part of labor relations, the study found that the relationship between employers and employees was going in a better direction. The impacts of manufacturing quality management, the entrepreneurs were impacted in terms of costs and profits due to the higher wages. Furthermore, the processing fee and some construction materials were adjusted to a higher price. As a result, the entrepreneurs would receive less profit. The performance result showed that the performance of employees was in the original level but the employees were hardworking and responsible improvement. The study on adaptations of entrepreneurs in construction business in Mueang Chiang Mai District was shown as follows: 1) the entrepreneurs were changing the employment system from the daily wage to the sub-contract worker instead 2) the entrepreneurs in construction business offered clients a job in higher value 3) the entrepreneurs were hiring migrant workers instead of Thai workers 4) the construction business entrepreneurs used the mechanism to replace human labors in some types of works.
