Abstract: The objective of this study was to 1) examine the support service preparation process at students and schools provided for students with disabilities during transitional period from school to Chiang Mai University and 2) identify problems obstacles and suggestions which can benefit to improve CMU Disability Support Services (CMUDSS). The population included 13 teachers from 13 schools participating and networking with the CMU Disability Support Services during B.E.2555 – B.E.2558 (2012 - 2015), 17 students with various disabilities studying at Chiang Mai University , 7 staff from CMUDSS attached to student Development office, Chiang Mai University. CMUDSS office is responsible for student with disabilities studying at the university. The samples were randomized picking from the population. The study tools included interview form which was approved by experts using Item-Objective Congruence Index (IOC). Information derived from all interviews were analyzed and summarized as descriptive report. The finding were as follows: 1. The Support providing for disabilities students during transition from special Schools and inclusive schools to Chiang Mai University was to academically prepare students since the first grade. 2. Teachers who responsible for student transition and students with disability who are still studying to the university have various suggestions for each conceptual framework which are useful for developing the CMUDSS regarding the transition. 3. Chiang Mai University has performed acedemice and life skill support for student with disability in the initial phase before coming to Chiang Mai University. CMUDSS also provides medias, relevant services, accommodations, and vocational services for those students with various disabilities.
