Abstract

This research has 3 objectives. 1. To study the community’s context. 2. To create Local Geohistorical learning innovation based on community’s context. 3. To study the result of Local Geohistorical learning innovation usage that affect the promote of active citizenship in primary school students population sample group which are 15 students from one of the Primary grade 3 class(2022, 2nd semester) of Wat Huaysai school by the using of purposive sampling method. Documents using in the research consist of “Interview form about “Maetha Community’s context”, Learning innovation evaluation form and Interview form about “Characteristic of Active Citizen”. Statistic that had been use in this research is Mean and Standard Deviation. The research result has showed that 1) Community’s context Maetha community is a 300 years old community that also had continuous development overtime and had been spent a large amount of natural resources to the point that the people in the community had to promote the preservation of natural resources in order to maintain the community’s abundance. 2) Local Geohistorical Learning Innovation had affected the Active Citizenship of the student by 4.58(Evaluation from 5 experts) which considered to be in the most suitable level. 3) Result of the usage of Local Geohistorical Learning Innovation that affected students’ Active Citizenship, the evaluation of the students via an interview and observation by teachers and their parent showed that all of students had passed the criteria of Active Citizen which consisted of: 2 students in Good level and 13 students in Excellent level.
