Abstract: | This research aims to 1) Analyze the Factors Affecting Creative Teaching Innovation of Teachers in Competency–Based Curriculum, and 2) To propose guidelines for developing Creative Teaching Innovation of Teachers in Competency–Based Curriculum. The sample consists of 354 of Teachers in Competency–Based Curriculum Chiang Mai Education Sandbox Pilot Schools. The research instrument is a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire, which has a reliability score of .941 as measured by Cronbach’s alpha. Data analysis methods include percentage, mean, standard deviation, and regression analysis. The research results reveal that the factor with the most significant impact on creativity in teaching innovation, as determined by regression analysis, is the attitude towards the teaching profession (SAA-m). The factor of satisfaction with the role of administrators (SAB-m) has the second highest influence on Creative Teaching Innovation. Other significant factors include the personal characteristics of teachers (SPC-m) and satisfaction with the working environment (SWE-m), both of which significantly affect teachers' creative teaching innovation at the .05 level of statistical significance. These findings indicate that all six factors are crucial for the Creative Teaching Innovation of Teachers in Competency–Based Curriculum Chiang Mai Education Sandbox Pilot Schools. Developing teachers' creative teaching innovations in competency-based education curricula is crucial in the present and future. It requires support from various sectors, including fostering positive attitudes in teachers, using resources efficiently, clearly defining and implementing teaching innovations, and facilitating continuous learning exchanges and support from educational authorities. |
