Abstract: This study aims to study guidelines for developing tourism potential. Ecological area around Phu Din Reservoir, Phu Din Community, Mae Hor Phra Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province The researcher chose to use qualitative research methods by collecting data from a sample of 300 people and in-depth interviews with community leaders. Reservoir Committee Sri Lanna National Park Officials A total of 20 samples were selected, consisting of 4 Sri Lanna National Park officials, 2 Ban Phu Din community leaders, 4 Huai Phu Din Reservoir committee members, and a group of tourist attraction development officials. Maejo University, 10 cases, with a method for selecting a specific sample size (Purposive Sampling). The results of the study found that Analysis of types of ecotourism attractions, hiking trails, Huai Phu Din Reservoir - Mae Ngat Sombun Chon Dam. The area of Sri Lanna National Park was found to be classified as a natural tourist attraction according to the principles of ROS and the Evaluation of Nature-based Tourism Site Potential (ENTSP) found that the Huai Phu Din Reservoir - Mae Ngat Sombun Dam route. lakes Sri Lanna National Park Area By considering only ecotourism destinations. It is divided into 4 areas according to the indicators of eco-tourism destinations as follows: 1) Resource’s aspect: found to have an average score of 2.31 with medium potential. There is an abundance of natural tourist attractions. 2) Facilities management, services, and communication were found to have an average score of 1.9 with moderate potential. This is because it is a survey to open a study path to assess suitability. Therefore, there are still no facilities or supervision from officials as much as they should be. 3) In the area of environmental impact management, it was found that the average score was 1.78, with potential at a moderate level. 4) In the area of community participation, it was found that there was an average score of 2.55 with high potential because people in the community and officials agreed to survey the route and are ready to make it a tourist route for the benefit of the community and the park. From the study of factors affecting the success of ecotourism. The results of the study found that Level of opinion on factors affecting the success of ecotourism destinations Overall, opinions regarding potential were at a high level, with an average of 3.92. When considering each aspect, it was found that the potential of ecotourism destinations with the highest level of opinion was area potential, with an average of 4.31, followed by the potential for Participation, average of 4.23, management, average of 3.78, and activities and processes, average 3.39, respectively, and study of guidelines for developing the potential of ecotourism in the Phudin Reservoir area. By taking the results of evaluating the situation from the external environment from the results of brainstorming according to the SWOT Analysis technique, analyzing the environment in terms of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and obstacles to analyze MATRIX in each area, it was found that 1) proactive strategy (S+O) is tourism development, such as the development of ecotourism routes to study nature. Huai Phu Din Reservoir - Mae Ngat Somboon Chon Dam route from the analysis it was found that the nature of the route is a natural type of recreation. There is quite an abundance of plants. It can be developed into a tourist attraction2) Corrective strategy (W+O) is the development and restoration of tourist attractions to ensure sustainability, such as Planning for route improvements and developing tourist attractions by improving the landscape around the reservoir. 3) Preventative strategy (S+T) involves joining forces with government agencies and various agencies. Organize training to enhance knowledge and understanding for people in the community. To develop the community's potential and 4) Reactive strategy (W+T) to create a clear community development plan. To control and resolve the crisis situation to return to normal as quickly as possible. This includes methods to alleviate and revive the situation.
