Abstract: The purposes of this research are 1) to study the state of participatory learning management model based on the Buddhist integral theory and learning with happiness to enhance elementary students’ emotional quotient, 2) to develop the participatory learning management model based on the Buddhist integral theory and learning with happiness to enhance elementary students’ emotional quotient, and 3) to study the outcomes of using the participatory learning management model based on the Buddhist integral theory and learning with happiness to enhance elementary students’ emotional quotient. The researcher proceeded according to the research and development methodology (R&D) which consists of four steps: 1) research and analysis basic information, 2) development of learning management model, 3) implementation of learning management model and 4) evaluation of the effectiveness of the learning management model. The samples were three Grade 5 teachers, and 105 Grade 5 students of Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat (Piboonbamrung) school under Nonthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 which were selected with purposive sampling method according to the selection criteria. The research tools were 1) a manual for using the participatory learning management model, 2) a teacher’s potential in learning management evaluation form, 3) an emotional quotient evaluation form for grade 5 students, 4) a happiness in learning evaluation form, and 5) a virtue according to the Buddhist integral theory framework evaluation form. The data were analyzed by calculating the means, standard deviations, and the development score. The research results found that 1. The state of participatory action, learning management based on the Buddhist integral theory, and learning management based on the concept of learning with happiness to enhance elementary students’ emotional quotient where the participatory action of 18 checklists questionnaire had the average percentages from 62.27-87.27, and the condition of learning management based on the Buddhist integral theory to enhance elementary students’ emotional quotient at the overall was at a high level. And so was the condition of learning management based on learning with happiness. 2. The participatory learning management model based on the Buddhist integral theory and learning with happiness to enhance elementary students’ quotient consisted of four components; 1) the principles; 2) the objectives,; 3) the 5-step learning process including (1) creating learning atmosphere with happiness, (2) learning to develop mentality , (3) reflecting thoughts for characteristic developments, (4) developing social skills and (5) evaluating emotions for 360°; and 4) the evaluations. The application of the model's learning process was conditional upon the 3 phases: pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation 3. After implementing the model, it was found that the teachers’ potential in learning management were at good level which had development at the highest level (development score X̅ = 93.04). The latest values of students’ EQ from all evaluators; students’ self-evaluation ( X̅ = 2.79), teachers’ evaluation ( X̅ = 2.74), and parents’ evaluation ( X̅ = 2.84); were at high level. The latest vulues of students’ self-evaluations in happiness in learning were at high level ( X̅ = 2.74). And, the latest values of students’ virtue according to the Buddhist integral theory framework evaluation were high level ( X̅ = 4.05)
