Abstract: This research had purposes 1) to study the process of responsible collaboration among parent and paraprofessionals in using assistive technology to develop eating skill of the child with Patau Syndrome 2) to study the score of eating skill of the child with Patau Syndrome, after adjusted the usage of assistive technology by responsible collaboration among parent and paraprofessionals. The target group was selected by purposive sampling which included a child with Patau Syndrome, the parent (mother), and paraprofessional. The tools that were used in this research were; 1) behavior observation form of collaboration between parent and paraprofessional 2) assessment form of assistive 3) assessment form of eating skill 4) observation form of teaching behavior of parent 5) observation form of the child with Patau Syndrome eating skill after the teaching, for parent 6) 4 teaching plans for parents 7) 4 individual teaching plans. The researcher spent 5 weeks for observation and video recording. The data was collected from observation form, assessment form, note taking, and video recording, brought altogether to quantitative analysis and descriptive analysis. The result of research was found that responsible collaboration among parent and paraprofessionals in using assistive technology to develop eating skill in children with Patau syndrome has been divided into steps as follow, 1) collaboration in thinking and making decisions of paraprofessionals 2) coordinate thinking process among parents and paraprofessionals 3) Participation in practice and assessment that led to mutual goal 4) co-benefit. For quantitative outcomes are as follow 1) the assessment of assistive technology after adjustment was in highest level 2) parent’s teaching behavior score was in highest level 3) the child with Patau Syndrome’s eating skills after adjustment of assistive technology was in excellent level 4) the child with Patau Syndrome’s eating behavior score, according to post-teaching report was in very good level.
