This study examines the role of climate variables and rice’ price (THB) on rice production in Thailand. This research applied ridge, LASSO, and elastic net regression to specify which climate factors are affecting Thai rice production. The data set used in this study was monthly data starting from January 2010 to December 2020. The study shows that average temperature, rainfall, rice price, and lowest temperature have a positive impact on Thai rice production, while the highest temperature and humidity lead to a significant decrease on rice harvesting.en_US
