Abstract: | This paper describes how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) assess the digital business status. A computer study of quantitative assessment of digital business based on a semi-structured interview has been developed. Fourteen open-ended questions are deployed at the successful local SME that is decided as a case study. The present case study is chosen Simaon's chicken farm in San Sai, Chiang Mai, Thailand. Data collection technique and thematic analysis are used to compute the digital business status over the SME performance. It is found that, modelling local SMEs to digital business included the following criteria are, i) Research on the company's products, ii) Leadership in the current business, iii) Widely recognised nationwide, iv) Product development, and v) Relationship of quality storage and logistics. Finally, the findings suggest that SME performance being digital business should have its own information technology, social network media, and online platform for marketing and selling products as well as communicating with customers. Further research is based on the real time applications on assessing digital business status. |
