Abstract: Thai society in the 1990s - the 2000s was a dramatical period in economic, politic, and culture. It is leading to transform the concept of female ghosts and non-humans in novels at these times. In this sense, this change can be inferred to a number of Thai novels after the 1990s try to adapt a new particular style of writings - for example settings, characters and also problematic issues - in the novels. this thesis aims to study the phenomenon mentioned from above through some of Thai literatures. According to their reputation, Buang, Prai Prathana and Nangchada are one of the most appropriate novels which can represent this concept. As a result of that, this thesis found there are more several ghost characters than humans and trend to be female ghosts and non-humans who are a victim of crime. resulting in anger want to reclaim justice to themselves. In addition, female ghosts and non-humans during this period also are from many classes, careers, and cultures. The phenomenon may have been caused by an increase in socio-economic problems such as class, crime, and justice, etc. Therefore, the middle class has turned to focus on basic Buddhist morality. However, according to the case study, it found that some characters in the case study must behave within the framework of good morals and ethics in order to be successful. On the other hand, some who behave contrastingly tend to have bad endings providing that they are not remorseful. In this point, there are another level of moralities. ghosts and non-humans in the case study do not use their power to act beyond that moral framework. This feature continues to be reproduced today.
