dc.description.abstract© 2020 Author(s). The development of materials used to protect the blast that caused by the explosion is needed. It was revealed that polyurea which was a one type of elastomer has an excellent blast mitigation property and ballistic protection. In this work, polyurea samples were studied on microstructure and elemental composition using scanning electron microscope coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was conducted to nanoindentation analysis. It was found that carbon and oxygen were the main composition. Aluminum and silicon were also detected. Iron and/or titanium were found in some samples. Dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) will be discussed.en_US
