| Abstract: | Double-slit interference of non-monochromatic light with different central wavelengths was simulated using MATLAB, and related experiments were conducted using a sodium lamp, a halogen lamp and an light-emitting diode (LED) lamp. Through theoretical and experimental explorations of double-slit interference of non-monochromatic light, the characteristics of interference fringe distributions were intuitively demonstrated; the results can deepen the understanding of the interference mechanism of non-monochromatic light. Our study can also provide theoretical support for measuring engineering parameters with non-monochromatic light in interferometric engineering measurements. |
