อาจารย์พยาบาล: ความท้าทายต่อสมรรถนะส่วนบุคคล

Abstract

เนื่องจากปัจจุบันนี้มีการขาดแคลนพยาบาลเกิดขึ้นทั่วโลก จากสาเหตุหนึ่งคือ การมีอาจารย์พยาบาลไม่เพียงพอต่อการผลิตพยาบาล บทความนี้จึงต้องการเชิญชวนให้พยาบาลที่มีคุณสมบัติเหมาะสมให้เปลี่ยนมาเป็นอาจารย์พยาบาล โดยให้ข้อคิดที่เกี่ยวกับลักษณะงานของอาจารย์พยาบาลและการเตรียมตัวเพื่อทำงานเป็นอาจารย์พยาบาล รวมทั้งแนะนำให้เห็นถึงสภาพการของการศึกษาพยาบาลในยุคปัจจุบันที่จะมีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อการทำงานของอาจารย์พยาบาล ซึ่งเป็นการผลิตคนเพื่อออกไปประกอบวิชาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้องกับชีวิตและความปลอดภัยของมนุษย์ ทั้งนี้เพื่อช่วยให้พยาบาลที่ประสงค์จะมาเป็นอาจารย์พยาบาลได้มีข้อมูลประกอบการตัดสินใจได้อย่างรอบคอบมากยิ่งขึ้น

Today’s global nursing shortage is critical due to insufficient nursing faculty members to produce nurses. This article aims to invite qualified registered nurses to be nursing faculty member by providing notions related work characteristics for faculty member position and preparation to work as a faculty member. In addition, situations in nursing education also are recommended. It has direct impact on the job of faculty members because it involves with producing nurses whose their jobs are related to human lives and safety. It would be helpful for registered nurses to make a good and critical decision to become a nursing faculty member.
