Abstract: This study were a single subject design with A-B-A-B design that aimed to determine the result of the TEACCH program use and positive reinforcement to increase self-regulation of a preschool child with autism. The case study was selected by purposive sampling, a 5 year-old boy, who was treated at the Child Psychiatric Unit, Maharaj Nakhon Chiang Mai Hospital. The instruments used in this study included the reinforcement assessment form, the observation prompt form, the individualized education plans, the materials of TEACCH program and video recorder. These instruments were developed by the researcher and all instruments have been seeking an index of item–objective congruence (IOC) from the experts. Data was analyzed by using simple statistics and descriptive statistics. This research has been certified from the ethics committee review board. (Study code: NONE-2561-05951) The results showed that the teacher's prompting score steadily decreased, the baseline (A1) had a prompting score of 2.69, the first treatment period (B1) had a prompting score of 1.67, the treatment withdrawal (A2) had a prompting score of 1.59 and the second treatment period (B2) had a prompting score of 1.15. These results signify that self-regulation of the case study increase after using the TEACCH program and positive reinforcement.
