Abstract: This study developed a model to prevent children from dropping out. In joint participation with the Nakien School, Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province. With integrating the principles of knowledge engineering and participation aims to analyze the problem of children dropping out of school at the Nakien School, Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province. And to develop a model to prevent children from dropping out. This is a Qualitative Research that utilizes secondary data from documents, interviews, and group chat. The population consists of 1) teachers and educational personnel in the Nakien School 2) families and communities 3) government agencies that are involved in the area. The work applies the principles of engineering knowledge and participation as the instrument for analysis. The results indicate that poverty and lack of basics are the main cause of woe, which lead to a deteriorating effect when famine is experienced. Such a dire situation becomes an obstacle for school children who want to finish their studies. Another form of hardship is not being able to solve family problems and having no parental support. Some children are forced to help their parents at home. Without a proper supporting structure for schooling the children become helpless in completing their studies at school. The results found that approaches to prevent problems. The children who are at the risk of dropping out of school can sustain their learning ability by using a participatory process with the relevant government departments as a form of supervision. This way, the participation of students and families in the community can become more realistic. The development of this work comes in the form of a “collaboration framework ”. Can allow anyone to realize their own role in participating Participation on a Prevention of children drop out of school problem completely.
