การพัฒนาศักยภาพการเรียนรู้ทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันของนักศึกษาทันตแพทย์ ในการประยุกต์ใช้ทฤษฎี สู่การปฏิบัติงานคลินิก ด้วยการสัมมนาผ่านกระบวนการสุนทรียสนทนาแบบประยุกต์

Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์ ศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการศึกษาและความพึงพอใจของนักศึกษาต่อการเรียนรู้ทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันที่มุ่งนำทฤษฎีไปใช้ปฏิบัติงานในคลินิก ด้วยการสัมมนาผ่านกระบวนการสุนทรียสนทนาแบบประยุกต์ วัสดุและวิธีการ รูปแบบการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการในชั้น เรียนในกลุ่มนักศึกษาทันตแพทย์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ชั้นปีที่ 6 จำนวน 87 คน ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนกระบวนวิชา คลินิกทันตกรรมจัดฟัน แบ่งกลุ่มย่อยกลุ่มละ 10-12 คน เพื่อเข้าร่วมการสัมมนา แต่ละกลุ่มเข้าร่วมการวิจัย3ครั้ง ครั้งแรกทำการสอบประเมินความรู้ก่อนการสัมมนา หลัง จากนั้นชี้แจงเนื้อหาที่จะสัมมนา ได้แก่ความรู้ทั้งทางทฤษฎีและทางคลินิกทันตกรรมจัดฟัน รวมถึงอธิบายหลักการของ สุนทรียสนทนา ครั้งที่สองเป็นการสัมมนาด้วยกรณีศึกษา ผู้ป่วย โดยใช้กระบวนการสุนทรียสนทนาแบบประยุกต์โดย ผู้สอน 1 ท่าน หลังการสัมมนาให้นักศึกษาเขียนรายงาน สะท้อนความคิด ครั้งที่สามเป็นการสอบประเมินความรู้ และ ประเมินความพึงพอใจหลังการสัมมนา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดย ใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และใช้การทดสอบ Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test ในการวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบคะแนนสอบ ผลการศึกษา นักศึกษามีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการศึกษา ดีขึ้น ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนสอบหลังการสัมมนามากกว่าก่อน การสัมมนาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ค่าเฉลี่ยความพึง พอใจของนักศึกษาต่อการสัมมนาทันตกรรมจัดฟันผ่าน กระบวนการสุนทรียสนทนาแบบประยุกต์อยู่ในระดับพอใจ มาก นักศึกษาสะท้อนถึงประโยชน์ของการสัมมนานี้ต่อ กระบวนการการเรียนรู้และการพัฒนาตนเอง เช่น ส่งเสริม ปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้เรียนและผู้สอน ทำให้เข้าใจเนื้อหาวิชา มากขึ้น กระตุ้นการคิดเชิงวิเคราะห์ และช่วยให้นักศึกษา สามารถนำความรู้ทางทฤษฎีทันตกรรมจัดฟันไปใช้ปฏิบัติ งานในคลินิกได้ บทสรุป การสัมมนาด้วยสุนทรียสนทนาแบบประยุกต์ ทำให้ผู้เรียนมีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการศึกษาดีขึ้นและให้ความพึง พอใจกับผู้เรียนมาก

Objective: To study student achievement and satisfaction in orthodontic learning by seminar through applied dialogue technique. Materials and methods: This study was classroom action research performed with 87 sixth year dental students who enrolled in an orthodontic clinical case seminar at the Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University. The students were divided into small group of 10-12 students. Each group had 3 meetings. On the first meeting, the pre-test was done at the beginning of this meeting. Then, all students were oriented about the contents of seminar; theoretical and clinical orthodontics and the contents of dialogue. The second meeting was the seminar by one facilitator. Applied dialogue was used through the period of the seminar, providing the student participating; asking, answering and suggestion. The students were assigned to report the learning reflection after this seminar. The last meeting was for the post-test and evaluation of learning satisfaction. Data were conducted with descriptive analysis. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used to analyze pre-test and post-test score. A p-value of less than 0.001 was considered statistically significant. Results: The students’ knowledge achievement was improved. The mean post-test score was higher than the mean pre-test score significantly at P<0.001. The average dental students’ satisfaction towards the orthodontic learning by seminar through applied dialogue technique was high. Students reflected the benefits of this learning method on their learning ability and self-development, for example; promoting facilitator-learner intercommunication, providing better understanding in orthodontics, enhancing their analytical thinking and encouraging the students to apply theoretical knowledge to clinical practice. Conclusion: Seminar through applied dialogue technique improved students’ orthodontic learning achievement and contributed to high students’ satisfaction towards this learning method.
