dc.description.abstract© The Authors, 2019. All Rights Reserved. In recent years, the developments on online learning have grown in leaps and bounds. In addition, the growth has expanded in various aspects including learning materials which are essential as they affect students’ learning. With the advancement of learning materials, corresponding students prefer online learning support systems which also have been rapidly developed. Many developing learning systems have been improved based on single digital media types such as a game, web-based, or Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) of personalized learning, while the preferred digital media types are usually disregarded. Hence, this developed system is created and designed for individual digital media types which students prefer to learn. This paper proposes to develop such personalized learning with three digital learning materials to individual students on preferred technology types in SQL topic. This study recruited forty-one university students to participate in digital learning materials which they prefer to learn. The materials empirically evaluated the effectiveness of personalized learning in each preferred digital media types, and the experiment was based on a pre-test and post-test design. The results of the experiments show that the assistance of the preferred learning material, and personalized learning materials demonstrated good performance learning achievement. Moreover, there are differences between the correlation of learning motivations and personalize learning in digital media types.en_US
