dc.description.abstract© 2019 IEEE. This paper presents the modelling and simulation of the Photovoltaic (PV) system using Electro-Magnetic Transient Program, EMTP-ATPDraw. The PV generator model including PV characteristic curves, filter and inverter models are also presented. The currents from PV behind the inverter with different loads are also compared. The simplified PV generator model including inverter and filter models proposed in this paper can be applied for studying PV system in transient and steady state. Moreover, the complicated PV model can be added and developed to analyze the complex systems for the future work both for transient and dynamic studies.en_US
