dc.description.abstract© 2018 IEEE This paper presents a grid synchronization method and power control using a rotor current vector control for the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) system with a two-level back-to-back converter. The main objectives of the proposed algorithm are the synchronization process and power control by only one rotor current control scheme. Based on the proposed algorithm, the synchronization process is completely controlled by the regulation of the stator magnetizing current through control of the component of exciting rotor current under variation of the subsynchronous, synchronous, and supersynchronous speed mode. In the same algorithm, the stator power is fully controlled by the component of torque rotor current. The validity and performance of the proposed rotor current vector control for the DFIG system is verified through the simulated results, which is simulated by mathematical model.en_US
