Abstract: | © 2018 Elsevier B.V. Heterostructure Ag3PO4/Bi2WO6nanocomposites were synthesized by precipitation-deposition method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy and UV-visible spectrophotometry revealed that cubic Ag3PO4nanospheres with <20 nm diameter were supported on orthorhombic Bi2WO6nanoplates and that Ag3PO4/Bi2WO6nanocomposites exhibited more enhanced photodegradation of rhodamine B than pure Bi2WO6. |
